Weekly Review Week 8

This week was another rough one for me when it came to this class. I had another very busy week at work, and on top of that I had my brother and niece visiting from Texas, so I did not get a chance to do the reading or analysis this week, which limited a lot of the writing that I did this week. I did get a chance to the rest of my work this weekend, like blog comments, project feedback, and extra credit assignments, which was good. I did enjoy reading everyone's project submissions and seeing them go through the process of taking criticism and applying it to make their work better. I have really liked looking at the writing process and how a group effort can make a big. difference in someone's work. There are a lot of great writers in this class, and so many of my classmates have interesting ideas about our readings that I would have never thought of myself. I love seeing other peoples point of views, especially when it comes to something as subjective as reading. I am really looking forward to our next project, especially since I will be doing this project on my favorite reading of the semester so far, The Californians by Gertrude Atherton. All in all this was a good week for me, even though it was not a good week for my school work per se, I am just glad that this class offers a lot of extra credit so. that I can makeup points that I miss from things like work and having family in town.
