I've got to admit, at first the wiki page and blog creation seemed very overwhelming, but as the week has gone on I have become a lot more comfortable with it.
The wiki page just seemed like a crazy amount of information that seemed to be really hard to navigate through. However, now that all of the craziness of the first week is over, it seems really easy to find the work separated by weekly folders. I do like the idea of having all of our course information on a third-party website though, because there has been some issue or another with Canvas and D2L pretty much every single semester I have used them.
I was a little apprehensive about creating a blog, but the directions made it very easy and I actually have really enjoyed submitting assignments in this format. I have always heard about people writing in blogs, and after learning how to create one in this class, I must say that I'm interested in starting one of my own to do some writing. I've never had a classed based around blog posts, but I really do like it!
I'm also a little nervous about creating a website, but I'm sure that the directions will be as easy to follow as the blog creation ones, so that makes me feel a little better about it.
I already have everything for the class bookmarked in my browser, which makes finding things a lot easier too.
All in all, I'm actually really excited for this class, because it is different than any one I've taken in the past.
